Benzyl Acetate is used as a composition of perfumery (floral, fruity; reminiscent of jasmine) and flavoring (reminiscent of apple and pear). It is used as a solvent in plastics and resin, cellulose acetate, nitrate, oils, lacquers, polishes and inks.
